INMATE ACCOUNTS AND COMMISSARY

Money orders can be mailed to the Hendry County Jail made out to the Jail with the inmate’s name at the bottom in the space marked “memo”.  Money can also be added using cash or a credit card by using the kiosk in the lobby of the jail in LaBelle, the local visitation center in LaBelle and in the lobby of the substation in Clewiston.  Money can also be added by credit card by calling GTL at 1-866-516-0115 or by going on-line to www.gettingout.com .  If money is added to the inmate phone account it cannot be moved to the commissary account.  Funds can be moved to from the commissary account to the phone account as needed.  Funds can also be placed on the tablet to pay for movies, music and books.

Commissary:

Commissary is ordered by the inmate on Monday’s and Thursday’s, and it is delivered on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.  There will be no commissary delivered or order on national holidays.

Food and other items may also be ordered for the inmate by friends or family members using the SecurePak website.  Any person may go to www.flcountypackages.com, choose the Hendry County Jail, put the inmate name or MNI number in the space provided and place their order.

 

Welfare Fund:

The Hendry County Sheriff’s Office has established an Inmate Welfare Fund.  This funding accrues a profit by providing services to inmates such as commissary and the inmate telephone system.  All funding is primarily used for the benefit, education, and welfare of the inmates confined within the jail system.
